Teri M. Grubb joined South Texas Money Management, Ltd. in June 2011.
In September 2011, Ms. Grubb was named Chief Operating Officer, in January 2013, she was named Executive Vice President, and in 2016 she was named Managing Director. Ms. Grubb works directly with the CEO and President on the overall operations of the firm including internal communications, human resource management, and client services and back office operations. Prior to being named the COO, Ms. Grubb served as Chief Compliance Officer where she was responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of South Texas Money Management’s compliance program.
Ms. Grubb graduated with distinction from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2011 with a Master of Arts in Organizational Development. She graduated cum laude from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Development and a minor in Marketing. Ms. Grubb currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas, Centro San Antonio - Public Improvement District Management, Alpha Home and The Hemisfair Conservancy. She also serves on the Resource Committee for Guide Dogs of Texas, Inc. She is a graduate of Leadership Texas class of 2015. Ms. Grubb was named San Antonio Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” and was named “Shining Star of the Year” in 2012.
Prior to joining South Texas Money Management, Ms. Grubb was employed with Austin, Calvert & Flavin, Inc. where she served as Chief Compliance Officer. In addition to her role as CCO, Ms. Grubb worked with the marketing and client services group, as well as the operations and trading department. Prior to rejoining Austin, Calvert & Flavin, Inc. in 2005, Ms. Grubb served as Vice President of Advisor’s Asset Management. While at AAM, she worked with the CEO and COO in the launch and development of Advisor’s Asset Management. Additionally, she worked directly with the COO on overall corporate operations and management strategy.
