Ronald Weiss joined South Texas Money Management in November, 2009 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Weiss has over fourteen years experience with regional and international public accounting firm. Prior to joining STMM, Mr. Weiss was a tax partner with the Memphis based accounting firm Thompson Dunavant PLC (now CBIZ/MHM Thompson Dunavant). While at Thompson Dunavant, Mr. Weiss’ clients included public and privately held multi-national businesses along with multi-generational family owned businesses. Industries served included transportation, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, gaming, retail and real estate. Mr. Weiss co-managed Thompson Dunavant’s overseas outsourcing solution, Enablizer, located in New Dehli, India.

Mr. Weiss is responsible for STMM’s financial management and reporting as well as execution of STMM’s overall strategic financial plan.

A native San Antonian, Mr. Weiss graduated from Rhodes College with a B.A. in Business Administration and a M.S. in Accounting. Mr. Weiss is a licensed CPA in Texas and a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants. Mr. Weiss serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas.
