Job Title: Relationship Manager - Service (Wealth Management Platform)

Job Description:

The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for ensuring clients on the Wealth Management Platform (WMP) receive a high level of touch and an excellent client experience. RMs are responsible for client communication to include face-to-face meetings, emails and phone calls, and ensuring client requests are being fulfilled and followed up on. RMs do not make investment decisions related to the investment of the account, but instead work with the investment team to ensure accounts are invested according to asset allocation and risk tolerance. The Relationship Manager is expected to develop a deep understanding of strategies utilized across this platform including fixed income, equities, discretionary and non-discretionary accounts, and brokerage and trust services. This platform is an offering for ultra-high net worth individuals, families and non-profit organizations as well as pension funds. The current minimum is $20 million.

Responsibilities Include:

Provide strong customer service and client experience to all clients:

  • Communicate with clients in the form of regular portfolio meetings to go over the client’s portfolio and performance, and through phone calls and email
  • Provide performance updates as required to clients, including comprehensive statements and performance reports
  • Respond to client requests promptly and ensure requests are being fulfilled in a timely fashion
  • Adhere to STMMs Service Checklist to ensure clients are being serviced as required by our policies
  • Prepare and present to current clients and/or prospective clients to educate them on STMMs WMP offering
  • Cultivate relationships to grow assets under management on platform
  • Work with Director of Manager Research to build a deep understanding of managers offered on Wealth Management Platform
  • Maintain opportunities and client information in CRM

Education and Work Experience

  • Strong familiarity with high-level financial planning concepts and practices
  • Separately managed account experience considered a plus
  • Strong skills related to technology and systems including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
