- Designed and implemented of all types of estate planning techniques, in both taxable and non-taxable estates.

  • Advised clients on estate planning strategies to minimize estate taxes, including but not limited to, setting up inter vivos, irrevocable trusts such as grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, Crummey trusts, intentionally defective grantor trusts, and others, to shift wealth downstream to the next generation.
  • Incorporated partnership planning, when appropriate, to protect assets and/or minimize tax exposure.
  • Developed charitable giving plans in conjunction with estate plans, including the use of charitable lead or remainder trusts and private foundations.
  • Coordinated the treatment of probate and non-probate assets, including life insurance and retirement benefits.

  • Prepared Federal Estate (and Generation-Skipping Transfer) Tax Returns.
