Senior Vice President & Director of Portfolio Management Administrator
Christine Quichocho joined South Texas Money Management in June 2003 and was quickly promoted to Portfolio Management Assistant. In 2012, she was promoted to Senior Portfolio Management Administrator and currently heads up the Portfolio Management Administration Team that is responsible for reviewing accounts to ensure they are properly invested according to their investment objective and to STMM's core portfolio and guidelines. The Portfolio Management Administration team makes sure accounts have proper diversification across all equity sectors and support the Investment Advisors with account transitions, especially with concentrated positions that significant gains.
Ms. Quichocho is also responsible for communicating how changes to the core portfolio impact our accounts and implement those changes in a consistent manner. She ensures that accounts with non-core exposure are handled appropriately according to client wishes and directives from our Chief Investment Officer. She also coordinates and executes our year-end tax loss trading project and handles any special projects as requested by the CEO/CIO as related to portfolio management.
Ms. Quichocho obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated Cum Laude in May 2003 with a double major in Corporate Finance and Financial Services/Risk Management. In addition, she was on the Dean's List for three years in recognition of her high scholastic achievement.
