Christina K. Lecholop, CFP®

Christina Lecholop joined South Texas Money Management, Ltd. in 2009 and is responsible for leading the specialized Wealth Management investment program offering comprehensive investment advice and a premium level of client service. Her background in providing advice and guidance to clients with complex financial situations has allowed her to serve as an important resource in the financial decision-making process by assisting clients with evaluating investment solutions from a financial planning standpoint. As part of a client’s team of advisors, Ms. Lecholop often works closely with clients’ tax professionals and attorneys to be certain the tax and estate planning consequences of financial decisions are considered.

Prior to joining STMM, Ms. Lecholop began her career at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith in Houston, Texas, in 2004 where she served in financial planning, client service, and marketing roles. Ms. Lecholop earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2008, and she was named “Rookie of the Year” by Merrill Lynch for the Greater Houston Region in 2006.

Ms. Lecholop graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication. A San Antonio native, Ms. Lecholop serves on the Board of Directors for Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA) and as Treasurer for University Presbyterian Children’s Center. She has previously served as a Reading Buddy for San Antonio Youth Literacy, on the San Antonio ISD Foundation finance committee, and on the steering committee for the Witte Society at the Witte Museum.
