Quantitative Analyst

Brianna Brown joined South Texas Money Management in August 2006 as an Equity Research Intern. Ms. Brown was the inaugural intern for a recently developed internship program with the Student Managed Fund at Trinity University. After she graduated, Ms. Brown joined South Texas Money Management as a Junior Equity Analyst for two years before moving into her current role as a Quantitative Analyst. Her responsibilities include performance generation & reporting as well as composite maintenance, focusing on compliance with the GIPS Standards. She also assists in RFPs and performs ad hoc data analysis for various projects.

Prior to STMM, Brianna worked in the legal field in Houston. At Doyle, Restrepo, Harvin & Robbins, LLP, she was involved in a successful litigation where she helped identify some of the financial discrepancies in the case. Later, she worked for Kathleen Cynthia Pickett, a private-practice attorney specializing in contract law, where she investigated financial aspects of a construction case.

Ms. Brown graduated Magna Cum Laude from Trinity University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Management as well as a minor in Economics.
